At the west end of the Ceremonial Garden is a small terrace to sit and enjoy the view of the Victorian Pavilion and Garden across from the Ceremonial Garden lawn. Rugged, attractive natural benches of Native Iowa Anamosa Limestone provide seating and evoke a resting site. A Mariner’s Compass in the brickwork of the terrace floor indicates true North and is a tribute to Clear Lake’s sailing tradition.
